I.Scope of Registration

All undergraduate students of Hefei University of Technology.

II.Registration Conditions

1.Love for Hefei University of Technology, love for the college, and good conduct.

2.Possessing certain organizational and language expression abilities.

3.Good performance during school, preference given to students who have served as student cadres, participated in research projects, and engaged in social practice.

4.Priority will be given to those who can actively connect with their high school alma mater for speaking engagements.

III.Activity Content

1.Conducting a themed speech

Students who sign up for this speaking engagement must first contact their high school teachers to determine the time and method of the speech. With the theme of "Memory and Contribution," explore new ideas, plan new formats, combine their professional expertise and personal interests, and conduct themed lectures, such as speeches on outstanding personal experiences, discussions on university majors, forums on university life, and exchanges of high school study experiences, to share university life with younger students. Also, introduce the characteristics of Hefei University of Technology, faculty strength, program offerings, and employment prospects of graduates, fully showcasing the charm of Hefei University of Technology.

2.Precise Services

Provide personalized academic and enrollment guidance to outstanding students interested in applying to Hefei University of Technology, establish one-on-one or one-to-many personalized services through WeChat, QQ, etc., starting from the speaking engagement at the alma mater, and establish continuous communication and counseling with younger students to serve as a link between high school students and Hefei University of Technology.

V.Schedule

Registration period: January 4, 2024 - January 13, 2023

Training time: January 14, 2024 - January 16, 2024 (specific time to be notified separately)

Activity time: During the winter break, carry out policy advocacy, professional discussions, and other related work as required.

Activity summary: Provide summary materials as required, and the college will determine the length of voluntary service based on the effectiveness of the activities.

VI.Reward Measures

1.After the end of the winter break, the college will organize a summary and presentation meeting for the activities. Based on the practical materials submitted by individuals or teams and the feedback from high schools across the country, corresponding commendations will be given to outstanding individuals or teams.

2.Corresponding volunteer service hours will be recorded in the extracurricular transcript - public welfare service module.
