1.Qualification Review
The School establishes a qualification review committee composed of at least three experts. The committee evaluates candidates' qualifications based on the school's basic registration requirements and the materials provided by candidates. The list of candidates who pass the qualification review will be announced on the school's website. Only candidates who pass the qualification review can participate in the comprehensive assessment conducted by the School.
2.Comprehensive Interview (Total score: 100 points)
The School sets up a comprehensive assessment expert group composed of at least five experts, all of whom hold professorship or equivalent professional titles in relevant disciplines. The expert group comprehensively assesses candidates' ideological and political qualities, morals, academic level, innovative ability, research potential, cooperative spirit, physical condition, as well as their listening, speaking, and reading abilities in foreign languages.
2.1Admission Targets:
(1) Candidates who meet the application and assessment qualification requirements.
(2) Candidates who meet the requirements for direct admission to doctoral programs without obtaining a master's degree.
2.2Format:
The expert group conducts individual assessments of candidates, with each session lasting no less than 20 minutes per candidate.
2.3Content:
(1) Candidates introduce their resumes and previously achieved research results.
(2) Experts from the expert group ask questions to assess candidates' grasp of basic knowledge, application of comprehensive abilities, and communication skills.
2.4 Comprehensive interviews for candidates applying for direct admission to doctoral programs without obtaining a master's degree are conducted simultaneously with the regular application assessments.
2.5 The comprehensive interview is expected to take place in the middle to early March. Specific arrangements will be announced simultaneously with the publication of the list of candidates who have passed the qualification review.
3.Admission Work
3.1 Principle of Target Allocation: The School will allocate the quota assigned by the university among the supervising professors for recruitment in a reasonable manner.
3.2 Principles of Tentative Admission: Based on the comprehensive assessment results of candidates and within the quota, a tentative admission list will be determined. In cases of equal qualifications, priority will be given to outstanding talents and supervisors undertaking major national projects.
4.Supervision Mechanism
The Graduate Admission Supervision Committee of the School is responsible for overseeing the entire process of doctoral admission.
